Students Make Top 64 in International Public Policy Forum

Amit Pampati, Andrew Binder and David Kinane have made it into the Round of 64 of the International Public Policy Forum (IPPF). High school students from teams representing 17 countries and 30 U.S. states participated in the preliminary round and Andrew, Amit and David were selected as one of the top 64 entries. From here, the trio will vie for a spot at the IPPF Finals, held in New York City, as well as the possibility to win up to $10,000. 
Congratulations on a phenomenal job!

UHS Crew - Head of the Schuylkill

The Novice Boys and Girls of Unionville Crew finished their season on Sunday at the Head of the Schuylkill. The Novice Girls rowed to 23rd place out of 39, while the Novice Boys finished 7th and 22nd out of 49. Only 4 seconds out of 3rd, the Novice Boys were the 2nd fastest boat in the league. Congrats to UCrew!

The last Varsity event of the fall season, the Head of the Occaquan, will be held on Sunday, November 5 in Fairfax Station VA, where 18 juniors and seniors will row. 

Unionville Crew is in its 5th season operating as a Club sport at Unionville High School. This fall the team grew to over 60 athletes.

Students Honored with National Speech and Debate Association's Academic All American Award

Congratulations to our seniors honored with the National Speech and Debate Association's Academic All American Award. This award is given to students with a cumulative unweighted GPA of at least a 3.7, the competitive degree of Superior Distinction and a record of outstanding character.
